Ford Cortina 80 (mk5) The Cooltina! Rorty-Corty! Old Nail! It's got polybushed suspension, better brakes, dual fuel and a lovely big Cosworth 2.9ltr 24valve quad-cam V6! Details and fitting guide within.
VW Camper Photo gallery of my old '72 bay window camper taken a good few years ago before the rust took hold again. It's next in line on the to do list after the above two projects.
D.H. Comet 4c 'Canopus' Photo gallery of what was the worlds last flying example of the words first jet airliner. I used to maintain this aircraft for the last 5 years of it's active life. It now resides at Bruntingthorpe where despite being in the open exposed to the elements since '97 it is still in taxiable condition.
The present status!7th August 2008!!Hurray!!! I've finaly managed to gain access back into my own website! Now all I need to do is start doing some more work on updating it!
ME! Still bimbling along at lifes unrelenting pace, only now I seem to have even less time on my hands thanks to having two young kids. Missus has decided she would quite like a classic Range Rover. Credit where credit's due, she's got style. It's just I don't have the bank balance to match!
Daily Smoker: I've gone all upmarket and bought myself a BMW so am now officialy an automotive arsehole and wouldn't be seen dead in either the slow lane or a Ford!! Actualy, it's an old 5 series, it was cheap as chips, came with 4 new tyres and a full mot and everything works. Aparts from the usual thread bare drivers seat base I can't fault it. I'd deffinately buy another.
Escort Hairdresser Chariot! Still sat with half an engine and an out of date website! However work has recomenced (after being spurred on by a request for the car for some film work of all things!) and I have hopefully almost overcome all the wiring gremlins from the second hand wiring loom and the bodged 'Professionaly fitted' security system. Also finaly finished porting the cylinder head which has since been skimmed ready to fit. It'll probably still get sold once finished, great result after the 8 years effort!
Cooltina Cosworth V6 alive and running (though noisely thanks to a combination of tappet noise and no exhaust system to speak of) and a half fitted LPG conversion (See Cortina section for details), needs a bit of welding before MOT.
VW Camper Trying not to think about it too much!
Engine fudged! Rusty, needs re-wiring and the MOT's expired and it doesn't look like it'll get another one anytime soon. Presently doing stirling service as a mobile (sort of, it has wheels on it) storage shed.In the pipeline!Get the 'tina finished, it rocks!Get a bit more done on this site. Honestly!Get the Escort sorted.Convince the missus that a Scimitar / Rover SD1 / Opel Manta A / Triumph Dolomite Sprint is a cool car and that we really do need one, especialy with another engine swap! (not that I can afford it)Smiler.
